Erin L. Campbell, ENP, is the Deputy Director of Wayne County Emergency Communications with nearly 24 years of experience in public safety communications. Beginning her career just three months after graduating high school, Erin has served in nearly every role within the communications center, including dispatcher, lead dispatcher, and shift supervisor. She often says the 911 center “raised” her, shaping both her leadership style and passion for the profession. Erin believes emergency communications can be both highly professional and enjoyable, fostering a culture where hard work, teamwork, and humor coexist while serving the community during its most critical moments.
