I began my career as a dispatcher at York County 911 in 2001 and quickly became involved in training new trainees within my first year of employment. In 2010, I was promoted to Training Supervisor, where I taught our call-taking academy and continued to refine and strengthen our training program. Over the years, I led several improvements, including the creation of dedicated Police and Fire Dispatch Academies. After navigating numerous personnel changes within the training department, and often serving as the sole Training Supervisor, I was promoted to Training Manager in 2023. I now have the privilege of leading an exceptional team of four Training Supervisors. In addition to my role at York County 911, I serve on APCO’s Training Committee and the NENA/APCO Joint Minimum Training Standards Committee
