Jeremy Knoll has been a dedicated member of the Arizona Department of Public Safety’s Wireless Systems Bureau since May 1997. Over his distinguished career, he has risen through the ranks, starting as a Telecommunications Technician Trainee and achieving his current role as Telecommunications Bureau Manager in September 2018. In this capacity, Jeremy leads teams of skilled communications professionals who design, construct, and maintain Arizona’s expansive public safety communications network, relied upon by federal, state, county, and local agencies for their critical day-to-day operations.
On April 1, 2014, Jeremy was appointed Statewide Interoperability Coordinator (SWIC) for the State of Arizona. In this role, he ensures seamless communication and coordination among diverse agencies during emergencies and multi-agency operations.
Jeremy’s expertise extends beyond the office—he actively supports field operations, offering his radio communications skills during special operations, multi-agency initiatives, and disaster training exercises. As an All-Hazards Communication Unit Leader instructor and subject-matter expert in electronic communications equipment, Jeremy contributes significantly to training, investigations, and the fostering of operational excellence in public safety communications.
