Train Like Indiana Jones is an engaging and innovative training session designed to inspire Communications Training Officers to approach entry-level dispatcher training through an anthropological lens. Drawing on the principles of participant observation, this class encourages CTOs to move beyond traditional “one-size-fits-all” instruction and instead tailor their approach to their trainee’s learning style. Drawing inspiration from Indiana Jones, an archaeologist and explorer of human culture, participants will learn to observe, reflect, and adapt their training methods with curiosity and flexibility. CTOs will learn to immerse themselves in their trainees' worlds to understand what drives their growth, challenges, and success.
