APCO and iCERT have launched a collaborative, multi year program to accelerate responsible AI adoption across emergency communications. This session previews the program’s goals, working groups, and deliverables, including practical guidance for ECCs, like an AI Readiness Roadmap, and a 2027 final report. Attendees will learn how the partnership addresses benefits (efficiency, translation, decision support) and risks (privacy, bias, cybersecurity) with clear implementation and policy frameworks.
