Danielle Harris has proudly served Ingham County 911 for over 13 years, where she currently works as a Supervisor. A certified Emergency Number Professional (ENP) and Center Manager Certification Program (CMCP) graduate, Danielle is passionate about leadership, innovation, and education in public safety communications.
Within the center, Danielle oversees multiple teams and initiatives, including Community Outreach and Recruiting, Social Media, Special Event Dispatch, Employee Recognition, and the Mentor Program. She also serves as a PST I Instructor, fostering growth and excellence among new and experienced dispatchers alike.
Beyond her supervisory role, Danielle is the handler for Jessie, the agency’s beloved comfort K9, who provides support to everyone she meets. Danielle’s creativity and commitment to engagement have also extended to the digital space, she launched the center’s TikTok page, which has gained widespread recognition for its viral videos that bring humor, heart, and awareness to the work of 911 professionals.
With a passion for education and community connection, Danielle continues to be a driving force in promoting the vital role of 911 and the people behind the headset.
