Provost Marshal/Protection Directorate (PM/P), US Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM)
Mr. Josh Solomon is the Law Enforcement and Fire Protection Branch Chief at the U.S. Army Installation Management Command (IMCOM) headquarters. In this role, he leads the programs and resources for law enforcement and fire and emergency services across all 104 IMCOM installations worldwide. A veteran of nearly 25 years as a Military Police Soldier with the US Army, Mr. Solomon has extensive experience in law enforcement, protection, and emergency services. His career has spanned multiple echelons of the military, and he has served in key leadership roles, including Provost Sergeant Major for IMCOM. After his military retirement, he transitioned to a civilian role within IMCOM, where he has been instrumental in several high-impact initiatives. These include championing a data-driven crime reduction initiative featured in the FY22 Army Crime Report, standardizing law enforcement positions across the command, and overhauling the crime statistics program to better focus on crime reduction. Mr. Solomon holds a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies from The University of Texas at El Paso and a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative Leadership from The University of Oklahoma. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
