Boulder County Communications Center Director of Operations Claire Moody began her career in public safety in 2009. Although she earned her degree in Music from the University of Colorado, she quickly discovered a passion for the 911 profession and a strong commitment to serving both responders and the community.
Throughout her career, Claire has held a variety of leadership and operational positions, including Emergency Communications Specialist, Communications Training Officer (CTO), Floor Supervisor, Training Supervisor, and Director of Operations. Her work has focused on advancing innovation within emergency communications centers, supporting staff development, and leveraging technology to strengthen operational resilience and improve service delivery.
Claire is particularly passionate about fostering collaboration between public safety professionals and technology partners to help shape the future of 911 services. She is dedicated to encouraging open dialogue, embracing emerging technologies, and creating sustainable solutions that positively impact both emergency communications personnel and the communities they serve.
